Steve Hather has been Strategic Security Manager with the The Coca-Cola Company for nearly 7 years, currently responsible for strategy development and business alignment. Steve joined The Coca-Cola Company in Sydney, Australia as the Security Manager responsible for the Asia Pacific area. He moved to Atlanta in 2001 to take up his current position. He has been responsible for the development of the Company's global Incident Management and Crisis Resolution program and trains Coca-Cola managers around the world in identifying, assessing and managing all types of business risks and preventing and managing incidents and crises.

Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Steve worked for the Australian government. As part of his responsibilities he was seconded to the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Atlanta for over a year to work on security and intelligence for the Atlanta Olympics. On his return to Australia in 1996, he was responsible for establishing the Olympic Intelligence Center and Risk Management Advisory Unit within the NSW Police Olympic Security Command Centre.

He was formerly Vice President of the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security and holds Level 3 certification in Homeland Security.

Steve has a Bachelor of Education and Graduate Certificate in Management. He is married with 3 children.
